Privacy policy
About this policy
EuroAsia respects your privacy. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, send us a message or a request for a quote, or contact us by e-mail or phone, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have in relation to it.
We process personal data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of Montenegro and other applicable regulations, as well as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the extent that it applies.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is EUROASIA DOO, a company with its registered office at Ulica III No. 13, Farmaci, Podgorica, Montenegro, tax identification number (PIB) 02941830 (“EuroAsia”, “we” or “us”).
For any question about the protection of your personal data or to exercise your rights, contact us:
- by e-mail: euroasia25@hotmail.com

- by post: EUROASIA DOO, Ulica III No. 13, Farmaci, Podgorica, Montenegro
What data we collect
We collect only the data we need for the purposes set out in this policy:
- Contact form – your name, e-mail address and message.
- Request for a quote – your name, phone number, e-mail address and message, together with the product and quantity you are asking about.
- E-mail and phone communication – the data you give us yourself, such as your name, contact details, company name and the content of our correspondence.
- Technical data – on every visit, the server automatically records your IP address, the date and time of access and the address of the page visited, as well as the type and version of your browser and operating system. With messages and requests sent through a form, we also store the sender’s IP address and browser details to protect the forms against abuse.
- Your cookie choice – when you choose which cookies to accept in the cookie banner, we record the selected categories, the time of your choice, your IP address and browser details as proof of your decision.
The cookies and other data the website stores in your browser are described in detail on the Cookies page.
We do not ask for or process special categories of personal data, such as data about health or religious and political beliefs. Please do not include such data in your messages.
Purposes and legal bases
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- Replying to messages and questions – based on our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry.
- Preparing quotes and cooperation – at your request, to take steps prior to entering into a contract, or to perform the contract if you become our customer.
- Compliance with legal obligations – once a contract is concluded, we keep certain data in accordance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Security and proper functioning of the website – we use technical data to protect the website and its forms against abuse and to detect and fix errors, based on our legitimate interest.
- Proof of your cookie choice – we keep a record of your decision so that we can demonstrate that we respected it, to comply with a legal obligation and based on our legitimate interest.
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims – where necessary, based on our legitimate interest.
Providing your data is voluntary, but without your name, e-mail address and message (and, for a request for a quote, your phone number) we cannot reply to your inquiry. We do not use your data to send advertising messages and we do not sell it. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
How long we keep your data
- Messages and requests (in the website administration and in our e-mail inbox) – no longer than two years after our last communication, unless the inquiry leads to a business relationship.
- Data from a business relationship (quotes, contracts, invoices) – for the periods required by accounting and tax laws.
- Record of your cookie choice – no longer than two years after you made it.
- Server logs – only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted automatically.
- Cookies – the duration of each cookie is listed on the Cookies page.
We keep data for longer only where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and only for as long as that reason exists. When the period expires, we delete the data or anonymise it permanently.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your data. Only authorised EuroAsia staff who need it for their work have access to it, and we share it only with:
- service providers who host and maintain the website and provide e-mail services for us – they process the data on our behalf, under a duty of confidentiality and with appropriate safeguards;
- professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, where necessary and under a duty of confidentiality;
- competent authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
When you play a video or open a link to a social network, that provider processes your data as an independent controller – see “Links to other websites and third-party content” below.
Transfers to other countries
Some of the service providers we use, for example for hosting and e-mail, may process data outside Montenegro, including in European Union countries and the United States. In that case, data is transferred only in accordance with data protection regulations – to countries that ensure an adequate level of protection or with appropriate safeguards provided for by law.
Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the right to:
- obtain confirmation as to whether we process your data and access to that data, including a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
- have your data erased when it is no longer needed or when there is no legal basis for processing it;
- have processing restricted, for example while the accuracy of the data is being checked;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.
You can send your request to euroasia25@hotmail.com or by post to our address. We will reply without undue delay and no later than 15 days after receiving your request. Exercising your rights is free of charge. If we cannot reliably verify your identity, we may ask you for additional information.
If you believe that your data is being processed in breach of the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information (Agencija za zaštitu ličnih podataka i slobodan pristup informacijama), Bulevar revolucije 11, Podgorica (www.azlp.me). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, so please feel free to contact us.
Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure: the website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), only authorised persons with a password can access the website administration and messages, and the forms are protected against automated abuse. No transmission of data over the internet is completely secure, but we regularly review and improve our safeguards. If a security breach occurs that may put your rights at risk, we will act in accordance with the law, including notifying the Agency and you where required.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We set cookies that are not strictly necessary only with your prior consent. The list of cookies, their purpose and duration, and how to change your choice are available on the Cookies page.
Links to other websites and third-party content
- Videos (YouTube) – they are loaded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode only when you click the play button; your browser may connect to YouTube a little earlier, when you hover over that button, so that the video starts without delay. Google then processes your IP address and device information in accordance with its privacy policy.
- Social networks and sharing – the links to our social media profiles and the article sharing buttons (Facebook, LinkedIn) are ordinary links: no data is sent to these networks until you click them. On social network pages, your data is processed by the network under its own rules.
- Maps – the address on the Contact page opens Google Maps in a new window, after which your data is processed by Google.
We are not responsible for the content of other websites or for how they process data – we recommend that you read their privacy policies.
Children
The website is not intended for persons under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that such a person has provided us with personal data without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we introduce new website features or when regulations change. The current version is always published on this page, and we will announce significant changes on the website.
This policy is published in Montenegrin and English; in case of any discrepancy, the Montenegrin version prevails.
