What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way, so in this policy we refer to it as cookies as well. They allow the website to work properly and to remember the choices you make.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies, and those set by other service providers are called third-party cookies. Depending on how long they last, cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or until you delete them.
How we use cookies
On the EuroAsia website we use only cookies that are necessary for it to work and a few settings that your browser remembers when you choose an option yourself. We do not use cookies for tracking, profiling or advertising, and we load the website’s fonts and other resources from our own server.
In accordance with the Law on Electronic Communications of Montenegro and data protection regulations, we set cookies that are not necessary for the website to work only with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Necessary cookies
The website cannot work properly without these cookies, so they are set without consent. They are not used for tracking.
- SSGSID – first-party cookie (EuroAsia). A technical session cookie that allows the server to run the website properly and securely; it contains only a random session identifier. Duration: until you close your browser.
- cc_cookie – first-party cookie (EuroAsia). Remembers your choice in the cookie banner – the accepted categories, the time of your choice and a random consent identifier – so that we do not ask you on every visit. Duration: 6 months.
Functional storage in your browser
The website writes these items to your browser’s local storage only when you choose an option yourself, so that it can remember your choice. They are not sent to the server and are not used for tracking.
- euroasia:catalog-view – remembers whether you browse the products in the catalogue as a grid or as a list. Duration: until you delete it.
- flexcms_popup_dismissed – remembers that you closed a pop-up notice, so that it is not shown again. Duration: until you delete it.
Analytics and marketing cookies
We currently do not use analytics or marketing cookies. The cookie preferences include an “Analytics” category, intended for visit statistics tools (such as Google Analytics, with the _ga and _gid cookies). It is switched off by default, and these cookies are currently not set even if you switch it on. If we introduce such tools, they will be activated only with your consent and we will add them to this policy.
Third-party content
Videos on the website are shown through YouTube (Google) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and are loaded only when you click the play button. In this mode, YouTube does not use cookies that track what you watch, but during playback it may store technical data in your browser’s local storage and it processes your IP address and device information in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
The links to social networks, the article sharing buttons and the link to Google Maps do not set cookies on our website – no data is sent to these services until you click them, after which their own rules apply.
How to manage cookies
On your first visit, the website shows a banner in which you choose which cookies to accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time – .
You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”, where you can also clear local storage. Instructions for the most common browsers:
The website works even if you block cookies, but it cannot remember your choice, so the cookie banner will be shown on every visit.
