Semi-enclosed seat The semi-enclosed seat absorbs vibration well, so the operator takes fewer jolts and tires less over long shifts. The cushion adjusts with a dial, and the seat belt retracts on its own. Lower running costs An electric forklift has fewer moving parts than a diesel or LPG one, so it needs fewer repairs and replacement parts. Electricity costs less than fuel, and there is no fuel to store or handle. Comfort and safety Wide armrests, deep non-slip steps, a thumb-operated direction switch and a power disconnect beside the seat make the work easier, and the steering column tilts. An alarm sounds if the parking brake is not applied, a speed-limiting valve and a shut-off valve protect the hydraulics and the operator, and LED work and warning lights and puncture-proof solid tyres complete the equipment.
